3D animation creates many unique opportunities in films and recordings that would otherwise not be readily available.
This applies to both complicated products and systems or challenging locations.
At Zoom Film, anything is possible – it’s just a matter of finding the solution that gives the customer the most value.
In collaboration with Global Gravity, we produced a movie with pure 3D animation.
This made it possible to show exactly the steps needed to demonstrate their system in an easy and understandable way.
CHALLENGING LOCATION
Global Gravity wanted to show how their system is easy, safe and space-saving to use on an oil rig.
It would be a challenge to film moving images in this location, so instead we built an oil rig and the surrounding elements in 3D animation.
Among other things, this allowed us to control the environment and weather.
In relation to the company’s system, 3D animation allows us to make pipes and other parts float without human power, which helps to show and explain it in an easy and clear way.
With moving images, dismantling would consist of many different steps and would be tedious.
We avoid this with the animated effects.
